Moving in with a partner is a huge step to take in a relationship, and there are a lot of differing opinions on when would be the best time to make that decision. A lot of people would say that you shouldn't move in with a partner unless you're sure you see yourself being with them long-term. That being said, people also say it's important to live with your partner before committing to them long-term because you never know what it's like to live with someone until you do it for real. There are exceptions to every rule: some people who move in together, sure they're in it for the long haul, don't last more than a year. Others never move in with their partner and share wonderful but separate lives. Whatever the case, most people will tell you that you must, under any circumstances, try your best to avoid the infamous Lease Break.
